The tang has a single mekugi-ana, with a 8-symbol signature on the right side above a black paint marking and 3 symbols on the let over a stamped "287".

Fine. The blade is bright overall, with mild spotting, a few handling marks and a slightly faded temper line. The tang shows a deep brown overall, lighter in the signature, with some areas of gray. The fittings show some mild staining and wear.
