Description:

Measuring 36 inches overall, with a 26 inch thick blade, wavy temper line and a brass habaki. Iron 4-lobed tsuba, with light gold accents and a single seppa on each side. Green cord wrap with iron furniture, a gold washed rabbit on the bottom, and gold accented floral menuki. With a green lacquer finished saya with gold painted throat and green cord wrap. The tang has a single mekugi-ana, with a 8-symbol signature on the right side above a black paint marking and 3 symbols on the let over a stamped "287".

Rating Definition:

Fine. The blade is bright overall, with mild spotting, a few handling marks and a slightly faded temper line. The tang shows a deep brown overall, lighter in the signature, with some areas of gray. The fittings show some mild staining and wear.
