Measuring 9 3/4 inches tall, the base material for the vase is a creamy white enamel with much of the decoration in multi-colored cloisonne with no visible border wires, colored in blues, browns and reds. The particularly fine details have been hand painted, which includes a significant amount of golden enamel overlay. Around the mouth is a border featuring a wide assortment of floral, geometric and sunwheel designs, and the majority of the sides are covered with a scene of nine people. Dressed in a mix of fashions, they appear to be sitting down for a light lunch of rice balls. A small enamel maker's mark (untranslated) is present on the underside along with a faded paper sticker.

Excellent with a few minor handling marks, some superficial cracking of the porcelain, and excellent detail overall.
