Manufactured in 1898 and subsequently custom embellished. The revolver features almost complete coverage of floral scroll and punch dot engraving with a checkered back strap. The words "Red Lotus" are gold inlaid on the butt. The replacement barrel is marked with the one-line address on the right side and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on the left. Both markings are in a panel. The left side of the frame is marked with a faint Rampant Colt in a round panel. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Replacement ramped Micro front and adjustable rear sights, all blue finish and fitted non-matching checkered hard rubber grips.

Very fine as professionally custom embellished/target modified/rebarreled with 99% plus blue finish remaining. The grip is good with sharp checkering. The engraving and markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
