Description:

This Colt Single Action Army revolver was manufactured in 1926. It is marked with the standard Colt markings, including matching serial numbers on the frame and right side of the grip straps, and the assembly number "661" on the loading gate and right side rear of the frame. It has the standard blade and notch sights and is fitted with a pair of smooth grips with silver Colt medallions.

Rating Definition:

Very good as partially refinished. The barrel and cylinder retain half of the touched up blue finish (mostly around modified front sight). The frame has brilliant case colors near the cylinder cross pin and more faded colors in the remaining areas. The grip straps retain about 60% of the blue finish displaying thinning from handling. There are some spots of superficial spotting. The replacement grips are fine with glossy surfaces, some slight age cracks in the grain on the butt, and overall attractive cream tones. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
