This Colt Single Action Army was manufactured in 1884. It is marked with the one-line barrel address, "38 W.C.F." on the left side at the breech, the two-line patent information and Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame, and the serial number on the frame and trigger guard. The butt has no visible serial number. The left side of the front strap and back strap are marked "1190 B", and "1439" is marked on the loading gate. It is fitted with wide stag grips and has the blade front and notch rear sights. The blade has been altered and has a brass accent.

Very good as factory refurbished/refinished. The revolver retains 75% of the blue finish and strong remnants of the partially silvered case colors. The front sight has been filed down slightly. The balance has a gray patina. There are scattered minor marks and scratches. The replacement stag grips are very good with attractive grain and natural grooves. The action is excellent and the refreshed markings are crisp.
