This revolver was manufactured in 1899 and has the standard blade front and notch rear sights and checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt emblems hand marked with the matching partial serial number. The top of the barrel has the two line address, and the left side has "(BISLEY MODEL) 41 COLT". The frame is marked with the two line, three date patent information followed by the circled Rampant Colt emblem. The loading gate is marked with the assembly number "428". The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard, and butt. Only 3,159 out of 44,350 Bisley revolvers were chambered for .41 Colt cartridges.

Very fine. The revolver retains 80% of the bright original high polish blue finish and 60% of the original case colors. The balance is primarily a gray patina. The grips are fine and have an aged tone, mostly sharp checkering, some minor chips on the lower edges, and broad scrapes on the right panel. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
