Description:

Manufactured circa 1904. With a round blade front and frame notch rear sights, early high polished blue finish on the barrel and frame and fiery niter blue on the trigger and hammer. The barrel is marked with the two-line address and patent markings on the top and "38 SPECIAL" on the left side. Very few double action Navy revolvers were produced in the, at the time, relatively new .38 special chambering. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt molded at the top with matching assembly number "632" on the crane, yoke and cylinder latch. The serial number is marked on the butt. The factory letter confirms the year of manufacture and states that no other information is available from the factory records.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall with 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish. Areas of light edge wear and scattered surface scratches are present. The grips are also excellent with well defined checkering and light general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Writer, with well over 45 years experience, has never seen one of these!
