Manufactured in the 1880s. Two line address/patent dates on top of the barrel rib and the "38 CAL" marking on the left side of the frame above the trigger. The revolver features a floral/punch dot engraving on the barrel, cylinder and frame, and a swan in a water scene in a panel on the left rear of the frame. The matching serial number is marked on the left side of the frame under the grip, the rear face of the cylinder and on the inside of the barrel lug. It features a pinned half moon blade front sight and frame groove rear sight, nickel finish with casehardened trigger guard and hammer, and fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Fine. The revolver retains 60% original nickel finish with scattered flaking, some minor oxidation and a dark patina on the exposed metal areas. The hammer and trigger guard show flashes of original case colors in protected areas and a smooth dark patina on the balance. The grips are also fine with a couple minor age cracks, some scratches and a few light handling marks. The engraving and markings are clear. The action is excellent.
