This Model 70 Featherweight rifle was manufactured in 1957 and is fitted with a Buehler scope mount base. It features standard markings including the matching serial number on the bolt, a hooded front sight with a nickel bead on a serrated ramp, a Lyman 16B folding leaf rear sight, later style receiver with squared tail straight tang, late style safety, aluminum floor plate, and a raised comb pistol grip stock with checkering on the forend and grip, sling swivels on the forend and butt, and aluminum buttplate. .243 Winchester is the third most common out of the six cartridges the Featherweight Model 70s were chambered for.

Very fine as partially refurbished (stock & floorplate). The rifle retains 98% of the original blue finish with some light handling/storage marks, a few minor scratches, and minor rub wear on the buttplate. The stock is very good as custom bedded with crisp checkering and some light scrapes and pressure marks. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
