This Model 70 Standard rifle was manufactured in 1951. It is fitted with a Leupold Vari-X II scope on a Redfield base and has a hooded blade front sight on a stippled ramp and a rear sight filler block. It has the standard late style features including a straight receiver tang and late style safety. It is mounted on a checkered pistol grip stock with straight comb, leather sling, standard sling swivels, and a red Winchester recoil pad.

Fine. The rifle retains 70% of the faded, thin original finish on the barrel and 75% on the remaining components. There are some scattered minor marks and slight spotting. The stock is fine with added recoil pad sharp checkering and a few small nicks and slight scrapes. The action and optics are excellent.
