This standard rifle is one of approximately 20,000 Model 70s manufactured in 220 Swift. It was manufactured in 1952 and has a 26 inch round barrel (standard for only the 220 Swift and 300 H&H Magnum) with a hooded stippled ramp front sight and the rear sight dovetail fitted with a filler block. It has the standard late markings and features including a "straight" receiver tang with partially squared end. The bolt body is polished bright and has the matching serial number. It is fitted with a checkered pistol grip stock with raised comb, sling swivels, and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 95% plus of the original matte blue finish with some minor wear on the top of the action from scope mounting, fading on the bolt handle and buttplate from use, and some light speckling on the floor plate. The revarnished wood is also very fine with sharp checkering, some light scratches, and numerous scattered dings. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
