This Model 70 Featherweight rifle was manufactured in 1957 and is fitted with a Redfield 3-9x scope. It features standard markings, a hooded front sight with a nickel bead on a serrated ramp, a Lyman 16B folding leaf rear sight, polished bolt numbered to the gun, later style receiver with squared tail straight tang, late style safety, and a raised comb pistol grip stock with checkering on the forend and grip, sling swivels on the forend and butt, and aluminum buttplate.

Fine. The rifle retains 85% plus of the faded thin original blue finish with some light handling and storage marks overall, minor scratches on the floor plate, and some minor cycling wear on the bolt. The revarnished stock is very good to very fine with sharp checkering, some spots of thinned finish, and several light scratches and dings. The action and optics are excellent, and the markings are crisp throughout.
