Built on a classic standard length Mauser 98 action. It is chambered in the 318 Accelerated Express caliber. The right rear of the barrel is marked with four British crown proofs, "318 EX" and "CORDITE 57 - 250 MAX". The left side of the front receiver ring is marked "LT 38627/WESTLEY RICHARDS/.318 ACCELERATED/EXPRESS", and the right side is marked with a "crown/BV" proof. Equipped with a blade and "poachers bead" front sight with a folding hood, and rear sight with one fixed leaf and four folding leaves marked "200" through "500". There is a sling swivel eye mounted on the underside of the barrel. Mounted with a nicely figured straight grain multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with an ebony forend, shadow line cheekpiece, solid rubber recoil pad, sling swivel eye and silver initial oval.

Very fine as professionally refinished with 99% of the blue and only minimal light handling marks. The stock is very fine with sharp checkering and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
