Description:

The first Walther Model PP pistols were offered for sale in 1929 and as an option the magazine could be fitted with a finger extension bottom piece. The normal early finger extension piece was made of black plastic with flat sides. For unknown reasons, a few were also produced in a red plastic color, also with the flat side feature. This magazine has the red finger extension bottom piece and the case is also a very early Walther PP magazine variation with a highly polished blue on the spine and semi-polished blue finish on the remainder of the case and the banner only on the lower left side of the case. Also included in this lot is a very rare PPK magazine with the brown boxed full wrap around grip extension bottom piece. The full grip extension bottom piece on this magazine is complete with no damage to the back upper spine portion. This bottom piece is attached to a pre-war high polished PPK magazine with the Walther banner only at the lower left side of the case.

Rating Definition:

Both of these magazine variations are rare and in fine original condition and are seldom offered for sale separate from a pistol.
