Description:

Manufactured circa 1898-1900 in Eibar, Spain, with strong mechanical resemblances to the Mauser Broomhandle. Blade front and fixed notch rear sights, with a faint one-line address and caliber marking on the barrel, a "winged bullet" trademark on the left side of the frame, and a pair of checkered grips with 5-pointed stars at the top and "SISTEMA CHAROLA Y ANITUA" in garters around the grip screw. Included with the pistol are six rounds of 5mm ammunition loaded into a stripper clip

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 90% plus of the original blue. Showing some areas of brown patina, shallow pitting around the muzzle and ejector port, and mild spotting overall. Some denting is visible on the magazine floorplate. Grips are also very fine, with a few light scratches. Several of the cartridges show splits at the case mouth, and no assurance of their shoot ability is provided. Mechanically functions, but breech bolt spring is weak. None the less, this example is way above average for this model of pistol!
