This target pistol was introduced by Walther in 1926. It is a well made pistol which features a fixed rear notch sight, front blade sight adjustable for elevation and walnut checkered wrap around grips with thumb rest for a right handed shooter. The pistol has a highly polished blue finish. The thumb safety also serves as a slide hold-open. The serial number and two "Crown/ N" proofmarks are located on the right side of the barrel directly above the trigger. The left side of the slide is marked "Walthers Patent" above the trigger, and the Walther Banner is located just forward of the slide serrations. The front left side of the trigger guard is marked "MADE IN GERMANY". The right side of the slide is marked "CAL. 22 long rifle" , the "Crown/ N" proofmark and "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur)".

Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear, minor wear along the edge of the flat sides of the barrel and some minor wear on the front grip strap. The grips are very good with some scratches and dings. The checkering has some moderate wear. Mechanically excellent.
