Manufactured in West Germany in 1967. Fixed sights, with the standard commercial markings surrounded with 95% plus coverage oak leaf, punch dot and geometric pattern engraving. This engraving is highly extensive, going so far as to include a floral motif in the area covered by the safety switch. Checkered wrap-around white plastic grips, with a flat-base magazine finished and checkerboard-engraved to match the pistol. Also included with the pistol are a "snakeskin" pattern Walther factory box with proper PPK end label (model, caliber and serial number stamped, "CHROME" and "ENGRAVED" hand-marked in blue ink), numbered test target, manual, adjustment tool and cleaning rod. Page 15 of the manual is particularly noteworthy, as it details the "De Luxe" finish, a factory engraving package that included white plastic grips standard and chromium plating as an option; the pictured example of the oak leaf pattern compares strongly to the engraving on this pistol.

Near new as custom embellished in box with 99% plus of the custom chrome finish, showing minimal handling marks and flaking. The grips are excellent, with a spot of verdigris on the back strap. The box shows some mild edge wear, with some stains and foxing of the test target. Mechanically excellent.
