Measuring 34 1/2 inches overall with a 29 1/4 inch quillback blade, decorated with a 13 inch panel of blue accented naval themed etching on each side, laurel etching on the spine, a small Nazi eagle proof on the right side and the Hoerster logo on the left. Gilt brass hilt with a small Nazi eagle and "393" on the reverse guard, a red and green eyed lion head pommel, gold wire portapee and a wire wrapped white celluloid grip. With a black leather scabbard, gilt brass scabbard furniture, a pair of braided black leather hangers, a pair of black ribbon hangers with lion head buckles and a blue sword belt with "Fr. Becker" signed on the leather tongue. Becker has not been identified.

Very fine overall with some minor spotting on the blade, light scratches on the guard, and about 80% of the original gilt finish on the brass, along with light handling marks overall. A small crack is present in the pommel, extending from the left side of the mouth and some verdigris is present on the hangers.
