This is an example of a late 1944 production U.S. Model 1911A1 pistol. The slide is marked "REMINGTON RAND INC., SYRACUSE , NY U.S.A." and the "P" firing proof on the top. "FJA" inspector mark is present. The right side of the slide behind the serrations and right side of the frame at the front of the extension have initials "PJG" lightly scratched into the finish. Flannery barrel marked "F" and "P". Keyes Fibre plastic stocks with a General Shaver magazine marked with "G". With an original leather M3 shoulder holster marked "U.S./Enger-Kress", which has a custom added extra suede leather strap attached to the shoulder strap and D ring.

Very fine with 95% original finish showing scattered light scratches and sharp edge wear. There is an area of cleaning around the serial number. The grips are excellent showing some minor handling marks with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is in excellent condition.
