Manufactured in 1926. This revolver features a half moon blade front and frame notch rear sights. Marked with the two-line address/patent markings on top of the barrel and "COLT ARMY/SPECIAL 38" on the left side, Rampant Colt and "VP" proof on the left side of the frame. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions and a lanyard ring on the butt. Complete with a Colt factory box numbered to the gun and papers.

Excellent with 95% plus of the original blue finish with some minor scattered scratches on the frame, some minor muzzle wear, slight edge wear on the cylinder face and a faint cylinder drag line. The markings are clear. The grips are excellent with a minor dings on the bottom of the left grip panel. The checkering is crisp. The box is fair with corner and edge wear and two corners separated on the lid. Mechanically excellent.
