Standard "L.C. SMITH Field GRADE" and Hunter Arms address on the top of the barrels, "L.C. Smith " marked on each lock plate. The water table, barrel flats and forearm have matching serial numbers. Single bead sight on a matte solid rib, 3 inch chambers with an extractor, choked improved modified/extra full. Double triggers, automatic tang mounted safety and mounted with a checkered walnut splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Good overall with 85% of the original blue finish on the barrels with areas of light spotting throughout the length as well as some light pitting and small dings near the muzzle. The frame shows a mixture of muted case colors with some light spotting on the left sideplate, and heavier oxidation on the right side plate and bottom that has been cleaned . Trigger guard has a mostly brown patina. The wood is fair with scattered indentations, small scratches and slightly smoothed checkering. Mechanically very good.
