Built from 1905 to 1946. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked modified/full with ejectors. The barrels have wedges of scrollwork at the breech with the Fox address on the left barrel and "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" on the right barrel. The front sight bead is absent with a white bead mid sight on the solid rib. The water table has the three-line patent date marking. Scroll engraved casehardened box lock action with bird field scenes and "ANSLEY H FOX" on both sides, along with a bird dog on the underside. Automatic tang safety and double triggers. Mounted on a checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware and pistol grip stock with checkered flats and a serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Very good as refinished with 95% of the blue on the barrels. With small areas of uneven bluing along the rib, soft edges on the rib, small dings that have been blued over. The frame has a mostly dark gray patina with small areas of case colors, light to moderate spotting on the underside and general handling marks. The wood is very good as partially professionally repaired and refreshed. There is a crack on the right side of the wrist, with light general handling marks. The buttplate has some small chips and visible hairline cracking.
