Manufactured from 1905 to 1942. Single bead sight on the matte solid concave rib, 2 3/4" chambers, choked improved modified/full with extractor. The breech end top of the barrels are marked "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" and "MADE BY A.H.FOX GUN CO PHILA. PA U.S.A.". Scroll engraved frame, with "ANSLEY H. FOX" in a banner on each side. Mounted with a checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Good as refinished with 90% of the blue on the barrels with areas of light spotting, small dings, scratches, and small amounts of light pitting that has been cleaned and reblued. With some dark gray patina on the bottom of the frame and triggerguard. The wood is good with scratches, light to moderate indentations, general handling marks, slightly smoothed checkering and chips on the buttplate. Mechanically very good.
