Manufactured in 1927. Single steel bead on the solid concave matte rib. The barrel is marked "PARKERS BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN STEEL". The barrels are choked improved cylinder/full with 2 3/4 inch chambers and extractor. The receiver has a light zig zag border engraving. Mounted on a multipoint checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with Parker Brothers hard rubber grip cap, blank initial shield and a hard rubber "dogs head" buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. The included collectors association letter confirms the caliber, barrel length and length of pull and states that at time of shipment the chamber depth was 2 5/8 inches. This information is also found on the included original hanging tag for the shotgun. "Notice" also comes with the original hanging tag.

Excellent with 95% original blue finish on the barrels with some light muzzle and edge wear and some light spotting on the underside. The receiver shows 80% of the original faded casehardened finish with edge wear and thinning on the underside. There is a smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is very good as freshened with a coat of varnish showing scattered moderate handling marks, some pressure dents and light chipping at the buttplate toe. Mechanically excellent.
