Manufactured in 1935. Single brass bead front sight on a solid matte rib, choked full/modified, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor. The top of the right barrel is marked "LEFEVER NITRO SPECIAL" and the left "LEFEVER ARMS CO., ITHACA. N.Y.", and there is a game bird scene on each side of the receiver. Double triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with hard rubber grip cap and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches. Complete with a hanging tag marked "OFFICIALLY APPROVED AND PURCHASED in QUANTITIES BY THE UNITED STATES NAVY".

Excellent. The barrels retain 95% of the blue with scattered scratches and some muzzle wear. The receiver retains 95% of the case colors mottled to a smooth grey/silver patina with some minor dark speckling and the left side engraving is worn. The wood is good with scattered scratches, dings and pressure dents. The checkering has moderate wear. Mechanically excellent.
