The Ideal Grade was the most economical hand engraved shotgun and has oak leaf designs on the side plates. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with ebony tip and a high comb pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Good as partially refinished with 99% of the blue finish on the barrels with scattered small dings, light edge wear at the muzzle and very small amounts of light pitting that has been cleaned and blued over. The receiver has traces of the original case colors with a primarily mottled gray/brown patina overall. The wood is good as lightly sanded and varnished with the sides of the buttstock having a rough texture with scattered moderate pressure indentations throughout and some bruised checkering mostly on the forearm. Mechanically very good.
