This beautifully engraved revolver features a detailed deeply cut oak leaf and acorn motif, starting with a 3/4 inch wedge at the break and covering the majority of the visible surface of the frame. The engraving features a finely executed punch dot background with scroll accenting. The cylinder is also engraved with oak leaves, acorns and scroll accents. This is a classical German engraving theme. Engraving is continued onto the back strap and butt. With a fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, serrated jeweled trigger and checkered jeweled hammer. The right hand thumb rest grips are wonderfully carved in a matching oak leaf and acorn design with a finely textured background. The consignor attributes the engraving to German master Kurt Jaeger, though no signature is present. It is nonetheless master engraved!

Very fine as professionally engraved and finished with 95% of the current polished blue. With small areas of light edge and high point wear and scattered general handling marks. The grips are very fine as carved with exceptional color, rich detail and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
