Manufactured from 1907 to 1915 with the very desirable "triple lock" mechanism. The top of the barrel has the two-line address. British proofs are on the left side of the barrel and frame, and alternating British proofs on cylinder. Cylinder and barrel shroud are numbered to the gun with the crane and frame cut-out having matching "1457" assembly numbers. There are no caliber markings as is common with this model. The back strap is engraved with a name: "J. Fowler." At the time of this writing, J. Fowler has not been identified. Fitted with checkered S&W medallion grips and a lanyard loop.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 85% plus original blue finish showing some minor holster type wear, some high edge wear and some thinning to a brown (mostly on the grip straps). The hammer and trigger retains 80% original case colors. The grips are fine with some worn checkering and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
