Built using a Delta Elite 10mm pistol as a base, this pistol was a test bed for a set of alloy grip extensions mounted to the grip straps in lieu of conventional panels, which increase the width to 1.13 inches and length to 2.55" across the magazine well. The arched mainspring housing has been cut down to accommodate the rear extension and a pair of foam spacers are present between the frame and extensions. The grip panel cutouts remain, and could be used to view the magazine and it's contents. Overall markings and features are standard. Colt factory records confirm the extensions as factory work.

Very fine (with noted factory alterations) showing 98% of the original blue finish with some dings on the bushing and mild handling marks. Grip extensions are fine, bright with tooling marks and some scratches. Magazine and grip escutcheons absent. Mechanically excellent.
