The included factory letter states that this pistol was retained by Colt as a sample and display model. It further confirms the caliber, finish, barrel length and special features. With standard markings on the slide, patridge blade style front sight and fully adjustable Colt Elliason rear sights. With a skeletonized serrated hammer, adjustable three-hole aluminum trigger, National Match barrel, flat checkered mainspring housing and fitted with wraparound checkered rubber grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. Magazine is absent.

Excellent overall with 99% original blue finish and a very small area of edge wear on the left side of the slide near the muzzle. Grips are excellent. Mechanically it may need some adjustment. The hammer and trigger function properly, but the slide will not cycle.
