The frame of this magnificent Blaser rifle is beautifully engraved with deeply cut, ultra high relief game scenes on the sides. The right side features four bull caribou in a lightly wooded field with mountains in the far background. The left side features four bull elk in a lightly wooded field with mountains in the background. These scenes are cut very deeply with varying layers of detail and focus, giving a true 3 dimensional perspective and depth of field. The bottom of the frame has a highly detailed bust of a bighorn sheep. The balance of the frame has a deeply cut oak leaf motif with acorns a classically German theme. Both of the side plates are signed by master engraver Chantal Schaschl. The steel grip cap is engraved in the same style as the game scenes with the bust of a deer. The break lever is engraved and pierced through in the same oak leaf motif as the frame. With a high visibility red beaded blade on an engraved checkered ramp and fixed rear express sight on an engraved base. The octagon barrel is ported at the muzzle with light floral scroll engraving and gold inlaid borders at the chamber. The barrel is factory grooved for a quick release scope mount and fitted with a Swarovski Habicht 2.2-9x42 scope. The stock is highly figured Blaser grade 9 English walnut with an ebony Schnabel tip, fine line checkering and delicately hand carved oak leaf and acorn border accents. With a checkered pistol grip and hand carved oak leaf and acorn designs. The buttstock has a Bavarian style cheekpiece with a solid Blaser recoil pad and a four round, relief engraved cartridge trap on the underside and quick release sling swivels.

Excellent overall with 99% of the original blue and coin finishes and minimal light handling marks. The engravings are masterfully executed with an incredible amount of detail. The stock is excellent with highly attractive figuring and minimal light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Optics are very clear.
