This beautiful, eye catching high grade semi-custom rifle was assembled and upgraded by the Winslow Arms Company. The muzzle end of the barrel has been carefully engraved and gold inlaid in an oak leaf motif with a fine punch dot background. The action is a Belgian FN mauser type with jeweled bolt, extractor and follower. A very faint "Winslow Arms Co." marking is visible on the left side of the front receiver ring. Mounted with a Swarovski 6-18x50 Habicht scope on a Redfield swivel mount base and rings. The stock is a stunning laminated wood with alternating bands of light and dark wood with diamond shaped inlays just rear of the beavertail forearm with contrasting wood forend and a sweeping contoured pistol grip with a contrasting wood cap and white diamond shaped inlay. The right side of the butt has a masterfully detailed picture of a ram springing on a contrasting ebony background. The left side of the buttstock features a rollover cheek piece and inscription plate reading "Arthur Caplan/1968" in fancy script lettering. Fitted with a vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad.

Very fine as professionally built and upgraded with 99% of the deep polished blue finish, only scattered light handling marks and some of the parts aged to a slightly plum cast. The stock is very fine with attractive contrast, high gloss finish and inlaid designs with only light scattered handling marks. The optics are very clear. Mechanically excellent.
