Built on a standard Winchester Model 70 action manufactured in 1960. This rifle has been professionally stocked and barreled by master gunsmith Dave Norin. Norin has been creating beautiful custom works from his Northern Illinois shop since 1995 and is a well respected member of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild. The barrel was manufactured without sight and is marked "DAVE NORIN GUNMAKER 2006" on top. The receiver and barrel are a polished blue finish. The receiver is drilled, tapped and mounted with Talley bases and rings and a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50mm scope. The bolt body has been polished, and the extractor is finished in a deep blue. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered English walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, blue steel grip cap, inset sling swivels and a solid Decelerator recoil pad.

Very good as custom built and finished by a master gunsmith with 97% plus blue finish scattered light handling marks on the barrel and bolt handle and some light cycling marks on the blued extractor. The wood is very good with sharp checkering, nice grain and mineral lines, small scattered indentations and light general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are very clear.
