According to the included letter, this pistol was part of a 20 piece shipment to the Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri, on 11 December 1919. Fixed sights, with the two-line, two-block address and patent dates on the left side ahead of the circled Rampant Colt, the caliber markings on the right and rear-positioned serrations. Fitted with a casehardened spur hammer, royal blue small parts, military configuration slide stop, lanyard swivel and extended grip frame, checkered grips with Rampant Colt and Colt banner imprints, and a full-blue magazine.

Excellent with 98% plus of the original blue finish showing a small amount of spotting and handling marks overall along with a few dings on the edges of the frame around the muzzle and the magazine well. The grips are also excellent with crisp detail. Mechanically excellent.
