This is a late production M1A rifle with a "SAK-7-69" marked barrel. It is fitted with a "NM 062" front sight, and an adjustable "NM/2A" marked rear sight base with a hooded rear aperture sight. Mounted on a smooth, GI oil finished U.S. inspected M14 type pistol grip stock. With flash hider, bayonet lug, and checkered flip out buttplate. Buttplate compartment is empty. Fitted with a green canvas web sling. Includes three extra magazines, M6 style bayonet with green fiberglass sheath, "H&R" marked rear sight assembly, unmarked front sight insert, plastic rear sight cover, plastic muzzle cover, and a plastic breech plug.

Very good overall with 95% plus original gray parkerized finish on the metal. With some light general handling marks, small surface scratches and areas of red oxidation and spotting on the flash hider. The wood is very good with nice color scattered moderate indentations throughout, some deeper gouges on the right side of the buttstock and a non-matching filler in the selector cutout. Mechanically excellent.
