Manufactured in 1981, this is a limited addition of 1,500 Diamond Anniversary Model 4 rifles. The receiver is engraved with floral scroll designs, gold bear and hunters in a canoe with gold scroll border on the left side and gold Model 4 and Model 8 rifles on the right side, each identified in a banner. The left rear of the barrel is marked "CUSTOM BUILT BY REMINGTON ARMS CO. / ILION, NEW YORK". Raised ramp blade front and notch rear sights with the top of the receiver fitted with a Leupold base, rings and a Carl Zeiss 3-9x40mm MC scope with lens caps. Mounted with a checkered extra fancy American black walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a contrasting wood grip cap and Remington rifle pad.

Excellent with 99% original blue and gold finishes and only minimal light handling marks. The stock is excellent. Optics are very clear. Mechanically excellent.
