Features a custom heavy octagon barrel manufactured without sights, a custom dovetail grooved scope quarter rib and mounted with an R.A. Litschert SPOT-SHOT scope. The forearm is fitted with a Pope style palm rest. With standard Marlin address and Ballard patent markings on the frame, double set triggers, three finger loop lever, cheekpiece and a Swiss style butt. Includes a breech seating tool.

Very good as rebarreled and customized. The barrel is bright with light general handling marks. The frame and lever have aged to a dark mottled gray/brown patina with light dings and scattered nicks. The wood is very good. The forearm is a new custom replacement and the buttstock has scattered small indentations, scratches and smoothed checkering.
