This unique target rifle is built on a Werndl-Hollub rotating block action with a heavy octagon barrel, ramped pin head front sight with wings, empty rear sight dovetail, and a maker/retailer marking of "V. FISCHER IN WIEN" on the top barrel flat. The breech block and receiver feature finely executed broad leaf scroll engraving with matching engraving on the hammer, tangs, spurred trigger guard, and lock plate. The upper tang is fitted with an adjustable peep sight with engraving on the base and diopter. The action is fitted with double set triggers mounted on a one-piece straight grip stock with checkering at the grip and forearm, relief carved oak leaf designs, raised cheekpiece, and a two spur Swiss style buttplate.

Fine as partially refinished (wood) with 55% of the original blue on the barrel. Displaying general handling marks, some areas of light cleaned pitting and spotting, a few small dings, and mild edge wear. A slight spot remains where the swivel was removed. The wood shows some cracks near the wrist on the right side, bruises and handling marks, small indentations throughout, and appears slightly undersized to the buttplate. Mechanically very good.
