The matching serial number is marked on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, wedge, cylinder pin and back strap. The cylinder is engraved with the stage coach holdup scene. Small brass cone front sight and hammer notch rear sight. Blue barrel and cylinder, silver plated brass trigger guard and back strap, and casehardened remaining parts. Fitted with a smooth one-piece varnished walnut grip.

Rating Definition:

Fine as partially refinished (cold blue on both sides of barrel). The balance of barrel retains traces original blue finish concentrated on the left rear, with a brown patina on the balance. There is some pin prick type pitting on the barrel. The cylinder retains 50% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The cylinder scene is crisp and clear. Most of the original case colors remain on the frame and half remain on the loading lever. The balance is a smooth gray patina. 70% original thinning silver plating remains on the trigger guard and back strap. There are a number of tiny dents on the butt of the back strap. The grip is good with almost all of the varnish remaining, and showing some scattered minor dents and dings. He markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
