Produced in 1855. Brass cone front and hammer notch rear sights, with "ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON." on the top flat, "COLTS/ PATENT" on the left side of the frame, and London crown "V" and "GP" proofs on the barrel lug and between the nipples on the cylinder. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, loading lever, cylinder, frame and grip straps. Fitted with a pair of smooth grips.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus, with strong traces of the original blue finish, showing a mottled brown patina on the barrel and a more gray color on the cylinder and grip frame, with dents around the wedge, pitting near the muzzle and around the cylinder, and scattered handling marks. A few areas of bright and vivid case colors are visible, most prominently on the loading lever, with a dark tone to the recoil shield and mixed gray on the remainder. The grip is fine, with most of the original varnish, some scattered and flat spots. Mechanically very good.
