Manufactured in 1862. German silver blade front and hammer notch rear sights, with the one-line New York address on the barrel, "COLTS/PATENT" on the frame, and a set of faint cartouches on the one piece grip.

Good, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the blued components, a mottled gray on the frame, and a mixed aged patina with a few near-black traces of silver on the trigger guard. The barrel edge has been renumbered to match the pistol, possibly the cylinder pin as well. Grip is very good as revarnished, with lightly visible cartouches, some rounding of the edges and mild dents. The half cock notch needs repair, otherwise functions fine.
