Description:

Manufactured in 1900, this model is commonly referred to as the "Philippine" or "Alaskan" model. These revolvers also have a lanyard loop on the butt, standard blade front and frame groove sights, Rampant Colt grips, and standard markings. Rinaldo A. Carr's initials "R.A.C" inspection marking is on the left side of the trigger guard at the front, the rear of the cylinder, and the frame just above the left grip panel. "US" is on the right side under the cylinder, and "1902" is ahead of the right grip at the bottom. John T. Thompson's inspection mark "J.T.T." is stamped on the right above the grip. The serial number on the loading gate, cylinder, and butt match.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as partially refinished/cold blue touch up (on top frame near sight notch). The revolver retains 85% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are very fine showing some minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
