Description:

Manufactured in 1898. The barrel has the one line Hartford address on top and "45 COLT" on the left side. The left side of the frame has a circled Rampant Colt. The partial serial number "294" is located on the back of the cylinder, and the assembly number "32" is on the left side of the frame under the grip and loading gate. Blue finish with niter blue trigger and hammer. Fitted with checkered Rampant Colt grips and a lanyard loop on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% of the bright original high polish blue finish. The barrel shows areas that have been oxidized and pitted then cleaned, leaving a smooth mottled gray/brown patina, light pitting at the muzzle, and what appears to be holster wear on the ejector housing. The frame shows some light surface scratches, handling marks on the grip straps, and some light spotting. The screw heads retain most of their bright nitre blue finish. The grips are also very fine with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
