Light floral scroll engraving adorn the sides of the frame. Dovetailed blade front and fixed frame notch rear sights. Blue finish with bright plunger, trigger, trigger lock/safety, hammer, cylinder pin and hammer safety. Fitted with a one piece checkered walnut grip with an iron butt cap. Comes in a period leather bound hard case with and "1862" marked brass shield on the outside of the lid and fitted green felt lining. In the case are a wooden handled screwdriver, wooden handled nipple wrench, powder flask, two cavity bullet mold and cleaning rod.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 85% bright original blue finish with some minor edge wear, thinning on the front strap and rear tang, a few minor scratches and some flaking on the cylinder with some smooth brown patina. Much of the plunger has a smooth gray, while the remaining components remain bright. All of the gold remains. The engraving is crisp. The grip is fine with some minor bruising and minor wear on the otherwise crisp checkering. The case is good with some corner and edge wear, and staining on the exterior, and some wear and material loss to the lining. The accessories are all fine or better.
