Description:

The top of the barrel is marked "J.H. CRANE, LONDON", and the left side of the frame at the breech is marked "W. TRANTER'S/PATENT/6567". It has British proofs on the cylinder, blade and groove sights, and smooth walnut grips. It comes in a hardwood case with fitted interior, bore rod, and J. H. Crane retailer label on the inside.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel and hammer retain 70% plus of the original blue while the cylinder is primarily a gray patina. There is some slight pitting and minor oxidation. The frame has traces of silver plating and primarily an aged patina. The grips are very fine with minor edge wear. The action functions fine. The case is fine with mild storage wear. The bore rod is fine with some light oxidation.
