This is an attractive example of a DWM Model 1908 Commercial Luger. It has a blank chamber area with the DWM logo on top of the toggle. The right side of the barrel extension, breechblock, front toggle, and underside of the barrel all have the late horizontal Commercial Crown/N proof. The front of the frame and underside of the barrel both have the full serial number It has the commercial style serial numbering with the last two digits numbered on the takedown lever, the bottom of the side plate, the side of the breechblock, and the rear toggle. It is fitted with the standard checkered walnut grips, with a correct commercial magazine that has the nickel-plated finish with an unmarked wood base. It has the commercial quality rust blued finish on the various parts with the straw coloring of the trigger, takedown lever, magazine catch button, safety lever and ejector.

Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish with 99% of the restrawed colors. The walnut grips are in excellent condition with only a couple of very minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. A superior example of a late DWM Model 1908 Commercial luger pistol.
