This is a post-World War I production DWM Model 1923 Commercial Luger semi-automatic pistol. The approximate serial range of the 1923 commercial Lugers was from 76000 to 90000. The chamber area is blank and it has the standard "DWM" logo on the front toggle. A "crown/N" proof is present on the extension, with "GERMANY " on the right side of the barrel extension. It has the standard German safe and loaded markings of "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN". It is complete with one nickel-plated magazine with a wood base stamped "GERMANY". It is fitted with checkered walnut grips. It has the better post war high polish blue finish overall with the straw colored smaller parts. Comes with a rare Audley patent leather holster. The Audley holster has a small metal trigger lock inside the holster that secures the pistol without having a flap on top. .

Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish overall. The restrawed part retain 98% finish. The grips are excellent. The holster is in excellent condition with only minor scuffing on the front of the belt loop and the front edge obviously where it was lightly used. Mechanically excellent.
