Description:

Overall the helmet is finished in a dull green/gray vehicle paint with roughly textured patches, with the black and silver shield decal of the Schuetzstaffel on the left side just below the stamped vent. The interior is finished in the same shade, with the lot and maker's marks faint, a black and brown leather chinstrap and tan leather webbing.

Rating Definition:

Fine, totally original overall. The metal shows about 80% of the finish, with scattered mild scuffs and a few areas of exposed steel. The decal is about 75%, showing wear in line with the rest of the body. Some cracking and scuffs are present on the leather.
