Sights properly removed, with the Remington barrel dated "7-43" and the forearm uncut for a rear sight. Standard receiver markings, with the "R" marked curved bolt, a Redfield one piece mounting block numbered to match, and a Weaver Model 330 scope numbered "20196". Smooth stock with four small proofs on the underside ahead of the magazine, boxed "S.A./R" Springfield Armory rebuild stamp, "P" stamped wrist, brown leather sling and a checkered steel buttplate with trap. The trap contains the a cleaning kit/oiler. Includes the CMP bill of sale.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 90% plus post-war dark green parkerized finish. Showing some areas of light high point and edge wear, and general handling marks. The reoiled wood is very fine with rich color, some scattered indentations and general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are clear.
