A gold crusader figure on the right side plate, the right side of the barrel is marked "HIGH STANDARD 50TH ANNIVERSARY 1927 1977" in two-lines. The left side of the barrel is marked "CRUSADER CALIBER 45 COLT" in two-lines and "HIGH STANDARD E. HARTFORD CONN U.S.A." in two-lines. The serial number "45C022" matches the cased .44 Magnum Crusader in the next lot. According to the included letter 500 were produced in .44 magnum and 500 in .45 Long Colt. Includes a hardwood presentation case with a red velvet fitted interior and a parts schematic.

Near new in case with only light handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. The case is very good with a slightly askew lid, some light handling marks on the exterior and some contact wear on the lining.
